Whilst we know when to be serious, we also know how to have fun. There’s more happening in Canberra than ever before and life as a student here will be one of your most enjoyable and rewarding experiences.

With a population of over 380,000 people, Canberra offers all the excitement and advantages of city living without the traffic, pollution and stress of larger cities, making it an extremely accessible playground.

Here you’ll enjoy world-class festivals, facilities, entertainment, outdoor pursuits, dining and shopping and a calendar overflowing with cultural, sporting and student specific events.

Because we’re a planned city, getting around is easy. Everything is usually within a 20-minute drive or less. More than 500 kilometres of dedicated bicycle paths will deliver you to each of the major CBD areas in the city. And our public transport system, ACTION, is a fast, safe and reliable bus service.

Ours is a safe city too, with one of the lowest crime rates of any major Australian city, and an inclusive and welcoming community.
